Bryan Mark Taylor Plein Air Workshop
Sept 16-18 2010, 9 AM to 4 PM, Tomales, CA • Fee: $300 Bryan Mark Taylor will conduct a 3 day Plein Air Painting Workshop for painters who want to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of outdoor painting through demonstrations (in oil), lectures, practices, and critique. The workshop will meet at Tomales Fine Art Gallery in Tomales, CA (http://tomalesfineart.com/1_directions.htm ), and will focus the artist on effectively capturing light, atmosphere, and mood in paint while using strong composition and color harmony. An accomplished landscape painter, Bryan graduated from Brigham Young University and received a MFA from the San Francisco Academy of Art University where he currently teaches. His award winning work has been featured in Artist’s Magazine and Fine Art Connoisseur. He has participated in and received awards at the Carmel, Laguna, Sonoma and other plein air events in the West. He is represented by galleries across the west. Following the workshop, Saturday, there will be an Artist Reception and Show, featuring Bryan's work, at Tomales Fine Art.
